Digiweb have opened a new datacentre expansion at their Blanchardstown Technology Campus in Dublin, providing new space for all web projects. This new facility is attracting large interest ranging from virtualization solutions, dedicated servers and co-location from small to very large customers including financial services and disaster recovery solutions. 
Irish web hosting and broadband provider Digiweb announces today that it has completed this significant investment in Dublin. This investment provides expansion of an additional fifty percent capacity with the opening of this new data suite at their major hosting facility in the Blanchardstown Technology Campus. Digiweb state that this is part of their on-going investment into datacentre capacity in Ireland. This is expected to expand to tens of thousands of square feet of further capacity over the next three years. 
The datacentre currently provides service to a number of high profile customers including the Tower Hotel Group, the Law Society and the Central & Regional Fisheries Board as well as some of Ireland’s most popular websites including iFoods.tv and boards.ie. The range of services includes secure co-location, disaster recovery facilities and providing managed servers and network hardware. 
The certified facility includes investment to ensure the highest levels of reliability using N+1 engineering, multiple fibre rings and agreements with Tier 1 providers. Power is guaranteed with multiple UPS and generators, suitable for hosting all requirements from small business to the largest enterprises and Government data and systems.

However, significant market demand has meant that we were reaching capacity far faster than expected, hence our accelerated build-out program.
