Digiweb, the national telecommunications and managed services provider, today announced that it has successfully completed a hosting, telecommunications and managed hosting solution for Ask Jeeves / Ask.com. Digiweb’s Dublin data centre will house the entire European IT infrastructure of Ask Jeeves / Ask.com. The Ask Jeeves website in the UK currently receives 15 million unique users per month.
To ensure uninterrupted connectivity and 24×7 customer access to all of its sites, Ask Jeeves / Ask.com made the decision to migrate its European IT infrastructure into a secure data centre location.  Digiweb was chosen based on its unique ability to provide an independent national telecoms network and a dedicated data centre facility with the highest levels of security, capacity and resilience.
Following the successful migration, Digiweb is now hosting the Ask Jeeves and Ask.com websites. To guarantee website availability for Ask Jeeves / Ask.com customers around-the-clock, Digiweb is providing Ask Jeeves / Ask.com with a tailored managed hosting and security solution.  Digiweb is also providing voice and data connectivity for the Ask.Jeeves / Ask.com team in Ireland.
