Digiweb have signed a deal in excess of €300,000 over 3 years to provide Tower Hotel Group with a connectivity and managed hosting solution tailored to their requirements.
Digiweb are providing The Tower Hotel Group with a private MPLS (Multi Protocol Layer Switching) Network, interconnecting securely each of the Groups hotels around the country and enabling secured Internet access. The key benefits of this tailored solution are that The Tower Hotel Group has secure access over the network on a hotel to hotel basis, as well as to the group’s Central Office. This also provides a secure route for all third-party support to the group’s key business systems to facilitate remote diagnostics and support.
Deirdre Power, Tower Hotel Group, who coordinated the project, states “Our recently opened Tower Hotel Dublin, located at Whitestown Way in Tallaght, is an excellent example of how IT is helping to improve our delivery of services and meet the communications requirements of our guests. Digiweb have provided us with an MPLS network as well as separate secure guest and admin internet access and VOIP services. We choose Digiweb because they had the ability to offer us valuable project management input, a range of secure network communications options, ability to work within the time frame and budget parameters, and provide reliable customer service and SLA response”.
Tower Hotel Group also selected Digiweb’s purpose built datacentre to accommodate the Groups managed web services. Digiweb manage and monitor the Group’s hosting servers and support their main website www.towerhotelgroup.com and a number of their sub-sites.
